Dave graduated with honors from his graphic design degree in his home town of Liverpool before emigrating to Perth. Dave's first role was with respected Perth agency JB&B where he rapidly progressed through the ranks of the production and creative departments. After 4 years Dave moved on to a more challenging role as a designer and manager of the art department at The Brand Agency where he was able to hone his creative skills on some of Perth's largest advertising accounts, including; Bunnings, Turf Club WA and BankWest. During his time at The Brand Agency Dave's talent began to be recognised, including a top three finish in Award School. As a direct result Dave was successfully recruited by Perth's largest ad agency, Marketforce, taking on the role as Art Director. After several years learning the role of a good creative, Dave moved on for a second stint at JB&B (now known as MJB&B) taking up the position of Internal Production Manager. A position which saw him join the management team of Perth's 3rd largest advertising agency, responsible for the creative department, studio, production and traffic as well as handling a number of accounts for the agency's retail arm Whizbang Art, before eventually filling the position of Art Director which he held until the birth of Fuel Creative.
